Tech Lead - Android Native Mobile Engineer

Job Overview: We are in search of a Tech Lead with specialized experience in Android native mobile engineering to play a crucial role in our Aviation Services sector. The ideal candidate will not only be adept in the technical elements of Android development but also possess leadership qualities to guide and inspire a team of developers.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical planning, architecture, and development process for native Android applications.
• Provide mentorship and direction to a team of Android developers, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Oversee the application life cycle, from concept to deployment, including ongoing maintenance and iterations.

Software Requirements:

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android app development.
• Expertise in using Android SDK, Android Studio, and other necessary tools.
• Experience with publishing apps on the Google Play Store and managing the app life cycle.
• Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs and Back End services within Android apps.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in native Android application development, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a mobile development team.
• Background in the aviation industry or a related service sector is highly desirable.
