We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Middle Office to join our Middle Office team. This role is located in Wroclaw, hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Agreeing settlement details with counterparts
  • Handling settlement discrepancies through to correction and completion
  • Validating Prime Broker activity reports, handling all exceptions through to conclusion
  • Instructing payments and pre-advices to agents
  • Ensuring all cash/holdings activity have been actioned correctly
  • Liaising with counterparties and Prime Brokers on all payment/receipt discrepancies
  • Reconciling all cash transactions on a daily basis
  • Processing cash instructions with SSIs (Standard Settlement Instructions) validation
  • Swift messages requesting and validation
  • Providing support to junior team members
  • Providing support to the client and taking active role in client driven improvement initiatives

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • A minimum of five years relevant work experience
  • Ability to multi-task, work to deadlines and accommodate varying levels of volume and priorities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Confident personality, acting as a liaison with Front Office and client/counterparties - very good customer service skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Technical knowledge how financial instruments work with focus on derivatives, OTC and FXs.
  • Good knowledge of cash processing
  • Ability to use multiple source of information to resolve issues
  • Understanding of collateral processing
