Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Engineer with a specialization in Business Intelligence technologies to join our dynamic team. This position plays a critical role in the initial stages of deploying the Collibra Data Catalog tool, which is essential for enhancing the accuracy of IT Asset Management reporting across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collibra Implementation: Lead the setup and customization of the Collibra Data Catalog, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Data Governance: Design and manage effective data governance workflows, dictionaries, and lineage within Collibra.
  • Policy Development: Establish and update data governance policies, standards, and rules using Collibra.
  • Technical Support: Offer expert guidance and support on the use of the Collibra platform, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Training and Development: Conduct educational workshops and training sessions to drive the adoption and effective use of the Collibra tool.
  • Reporting: Create custom reports and dashboards to track data governance metrics and performance indicators.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Maintain a strong working relationship with the Collibra vendor and coordinate with internal IT teams to address technical challenges.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) with Collibra Data Catalog.
  • Deep understanding of data governance concepts and practices.
  • Expertise in Datamodelling, metadata management, and data lineage.
  • Strong background in data warehouse design and SQL Server ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for reporting.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Nexthink, SNOW, and JAMF software.

Accreditations:

  • Microsoft Certified Data Analyst
  • Microsoft Certified Data Engineer
