Head of SAP (Purchase to Pay Solutions)- Germany- Permanent opportunity

I am currently supporting a global luxury fashion and eCommerce organisation on their search for a Head of P2P Solutions to join their teams across Germany on a permanent basis.

The role:
This role offers the opportunity to lead their talented Purchase to Pay team, drive operational excellence, and shape the future of their organization. Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and develop their global SAP P2P team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Oversee the delivery of their P2P global template and drive related initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage P2P operational service and support in the production environment, ensuring seamless functionality and uptime.
• Define and execute the global P2P solution strategy and roadmap, driving efficiency and cost reduction through innovation and automation.
• Collaborate closely with other SAP functional areas, eg Finance, O2C, to ensure cohesive alignment and integration.
• Manage full life cycle of new P2P IT enterprise projects and initiatives, from conception to implementation.
• Continuously improve IT delivery, operations, and efficiencies in the P2P arena, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.

Qualification:

• 5+ years of deep hands-on SAP functional experience in large global organizations, with proficiency in implementing P2P processes in SAP S/4HANA.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT leadership and line management role within SAP P2P.
• Experience in master data management/governance, with a comprehensive understanding of the wider PTP ecosystem and connected modules.
• Ability to quickly assimilate a working knowledge of SAP applications within a multinational organization.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving results in a complex, global environment.
• Hands-on mentality with fluency in both German and English languages.
• At least bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent in a relevant field.
